Throughout many different cultures all over the world there are legends and myths about 'nature spirits'.
These are the beings of the elements earth, fire, water, air and ether. They come in different shapes and forms depending upon which culture is describing them and in reality who it is that is percieving them. Nature Spirits are the workers that take the elements of the Universe and put them into physical form. They take the archetypal plans and the elements from the spiritual hierarchies and build up the forms of minerals, plants, animals and microbes. These beings are involoved in every process and element in Nature. We really owe them a tremendous debt to be paid only in gratitude but for the most part most folks do not even do that. So here is a bit of an opportunity to think about these unseen and unsung heros and a glimpse into there existence.
Bella and the fire spirits
In trying to capture this photo I had to take about a dozen pictures of Bella. She kept looking up and down and all around. When I finally got her looking at the camera there was a big flash of light that I had no idea where it came from. I really could not see the details of the picture in the camera screen either. It was not until I downloaded the pictures that I saw what the light was and what was captured in the image. I would classify these as sprites or fire spirits, but indeed, I guess they could be anything!!!

In preparing for a conference in January of 2007 I was taking some pictures. I had gotten distracted and attracted by the vortex in the 300 gallon "VortexBrewer" [and afterward could see why!]. When I downloaded the pictures and looked through them I noticed these outrageous elementals working their way into the vortex. I can only guess as to their classification of 'Undines' as they are highly attracted to the watery element. This I believe gives great backing as to the value of stirring the biodyanmic preparations on the site where they will be used and not always using homeopathic or pre-potentized biodynamic preps...

“This picture was taken while big brother and big sister were vision questing and the rest of the family were camped on a mountain in Abingdon, VA. The little one spent the weekend playing in the creek and building fairy houses. I think it’s interesting that the elementals appear at the chakra points on both the child and the horse.”
